Suup is a mobile service app that allows users to find and rent spaces around Tokyo for work. We were approached by its owner - Moon Creative Lab to solve 2 problems:
Improve existing user interfaces and create new screens for major app feature updates: monthly subscriptions and designated space reservations.
Replace Suup's CMS dashboard. The existing dashboard had confusing UI and navigation which hinders the decision-making process and even required onboarding sessions that wasted time and human resource.

Optimizing for major feature updates
To prepare for the implementation of monthly subscriptions, first I organized the app's design systems and rewrote guidelines for better team workflow. Next was interviewing existing customers (7), put forward hypotheses and developed user flow. Analyze competitors. Build wireframes and eventually created the initial user interface.
Rebuilding the data management system.
1000+ customers use Suup every week, which means the amount of data including transactions and customer profiles is incredibly heavy for such a young app.
This is why bad UX and confusing flow was hindering the decision-making process for not only the board but also administrators and tenants.
Because there were also performance issues, we rebuilt the whole system from scratch. I was responsible for building the design system and eventually the new dashboard's interface.
